Part of a three-way, sudden-death playoff at the 2008 Barclays, but made par on the first hole while eventual winner Vijay Singh and Sergio Garcia made birdie. Winner of the 2002 WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship, the highest seed ever (No. 62) to win the event. Finished tied for ninth at the 2001 British Open. Former All-America at Fresno State University. Third Masters appearance.
