Entered the match play portion as the No. 20 seed but went on to upset two collegiate All-Americans en route to his 5 and 3 win over John Chin in the 36-hole final. Originally from Des Moines, Iowa. A junior at Michigan State University. Becomes the first Spartan to play in the Masters.
