(1) Captured the 1991 Masters title in a memorable three-way battle, including Jose Maria Olazabal and Tom Watson, to become the sixth international player to win. Made a six-foot par putt for the title. In 2001 won the Cisco World Match Play Championship for a third time and became the first player to win the event in three different decades (1987, 1990, 2001). Has won over 40 titles worldwide, including 29 times on the PGA European Tour and twice on the PGA TOUR. Twice led the European Tour Order of Merit. Tied for runner-up in the 1989 US Open. Winning Captain of the 2006 European Ryder Cup Team and was a member of eight Ryder Cup squads from 1983 through 1997. Making his 22nd Masters appearance.
