(17, 18) Winner of the Asian Tour Order of Merit for the second time (2006, 2008). Won four titles in 2008 by competing on both the Asian and European Tours. Won the Barclays Singapore Open in November holding off major champions Padraig Harrington and Ernie Els by one stroke. Holds 12 career international titles. Solid initial showing at Augusta in 2007, standing T10 after the first round and T15 after 36 holes. First Indian to play in the Masters and the first Indian golfer to qualify for the European Tour after earning his card in 1997. Son of a former Olympic sprinter. Third Masters appearance.
