Par 3 Contest - Quick Quotes
Wednesday, April 8, 2009

Q. You finished 5‑under with the ace, what did you hit?

TIM CLARK: It was just a wedge, 48. Yeah, I guess that's the best I've ever done on the par 3. I don't think I've ever shot under par, which is quite nice.

Q. You have a special caddie?

TIM CLARK: Yeah, just a friend's son.

Q. Did you think the ball was going to stick up there?

TIM CLARK: It looked like from there, it looked like it almost respond. I made it one year before with a similar‑type shot, so I felt if it could just get going, it would have a chance.

Q. What was your reaction?

TIM CLARK: Pretty excited. It's nice to get one, especially with the crowd and everyone behind the green.

Q. Can you tell us, what was that like when you went out there?

RILEY MORIS: I was kind of nervous at first, and then I was excited for myself when I made it.

Q. What was it like when all of those people started yelling for you when you made the putt?

RILEY MORIS: I felt happy.

Q. Have you ever made a putt before is this?

RILEY MORIS: Mm‑hmmm.

Q. How much golf do you play?

RILEY MORIS: Not much.

Q. Do you like it?

RILEY MORIS: Yes, sir.

Q. What do you like about it?

RILEY MORIS: Well, I like it because it's fun to watch people make holes.

Q. When Fuzzy Zoeller walked by, did you know who he was?

RILEY MORIS: Not really.

Q. What did you think when he said, come with me?

RILEY MORIS: I felt happy.

Q. Are you a golfer yourself?

RILEY MORIS: No, ma'am.

Q. You took Riley Morris out of the crowd; why did you do that?

FUZZY ZOELLER: Oh, Riley?

Q. Her first name's Riley.

FUZZY ZOELLER: Yeah, I know what her name is. I had to ask her three times but I know what it is, Riley. How about that putt she made? Isn't it beautiful?

I do it every year. I always pull somebody from the crowd on my way up to the last hole. It's kind of fun. Gets them involved. Gets them ‑‑ it's just fun for the people, and what the hell, we are in the entertainment business, so could have been a little old lady, too, you know that, but I went for a younger girl. It's because of that bow she's got, caught my attention. It was kind of neat. I'm just glad she made the putt. She hit a great putt.
