Also last year won the WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship besting Geoff Ogilvy 2 and 1. Ended the year fourth on the European Tour Order of Merit. In 2006, made his first Ryder Cup appearance finishing 3-1-1 in the matches. Six European Tour victories to his credit. Third Masters appearance.
