Also competed in the Presidents Cup. Fell in a three-way playoff at the 2004 PGA Championship. Won the 1997 British Open at Royal Troon which included a final round 65. Won the Kemper Open the same year. In 2003 won the Honda Classic while setting the tournament four-day scoring record. Captured the 1998 Players Championship and has a total of 11 Tour wins. Sank a 45-foot birdie putt at the 17th hole to clinch the 1999 Ryder Cup for the United States. Lost in a playoff at the 1999 British Open. The 1992 US Amateur Champion. Played on the 1997 and 1999 Ryder Cup Teams and 1996, 1998, 2003 and 2005 Presidents Cup squads. Has played in 12 Masters.
